HOW TO PACK THE SAFETY PARAGLIDE
 

Note: These procedures do not have to used for pilots with little experience. This demonstration only serves to help to remember the packing to be followed for that already they have executed this task previously. Differences in function of the used hold can exist. It must always carry through these operations under prompt of a pilot or experienced instructor.

 

Step 1

Initially it holds for the strings and it arranges the hold, straining it enters the base and the cupola.

                                    

 

 

 

Step 2

It one by one goes passing, all the panel, until finding the board with n1.

                        

 

 

Step 3

With the aid of the right hand it grasps in half of the panels and places the hold in a local plan. Depending on the size on the hold you it will have 16, 18 or 20 panels.Verify if it the same has number of panels in both sides.


 

 Step 4

 
 
It separates to the strings in two groups, leaving the string thickest in the way.   

It verifies if the strings directive go of the lifter until the o board without being rolled up with other strings. Without passing over another lifter.

 

Step 5

 

To take the strings of the lifter until the interior of the cupola. It uniformly pulls for the form strings to apply the same tension on all. With this procedure it will make with that the upper part of paraglide(cupola) enters slightly for inside.

 

Step 6

Displace all the panels of the right side for the left side. (a) To come back to pass the panels of the right, one by one, lining up them perfectly. (b) To repeat the operation with the paineis of the left.

Step 7

Paraglide will have now to be folded in four in form of " S ". To carry  corect  have to keep a constant pressure on the packing zone.

With the left hand who firmly grasps the panels to the right strings. After that it folds with the right hand the panels remainders on this axle.

It executes the same operation in the remaining part of the panels.

 
 

Step 8

At this moment yours paraglide will have to be presented folded in four equal parts. It now remains in accordance with to fold it in the format " concertina " the figures that if follow. Each fold must have the measure of the container where it will go to be introduced the hold.

 

 
Step 9

Verify that the container if finds in the position correctly. Normally the container has a label that if it must place of the contrary side of the lifters. After that it all gives to a rollback the set

 

 

Step 10

Stick the three first covers of the container with aid of the origin rubber band. The following picture arrests the strings in " zig-zag in accordance with ".

 

It uses the existing rubber bands in the extremities to arrest the strings, lenght 1,5 m of line of it are of the container.
